Why modern physics admits time travel is real
Time no more exits than does the inch: Time is a measurement, and like the inch, time exists only in the human mind.
Any scientific theories based on the inch are pure mathematical constructs which have neither validity nor reality outside the human imagination. And the same thing is just as true of time: Man can measure in his mind the slowing or the speeding up of some motions in the universe as 'time' (or in inches); but that is only the human mind measuring motions: Nothing goes beyond there into existence outside the human mind.
There is no such thing as yesterday, today, or tomorrow: Those are inventions of the human mind to keep track of stuff the human mind wants to keep track of (and therefore they have no existence outside the human mind).
Even the term 'planet size' has no validity or reality outside the human mind [because all planets are of different sizes], outside of being one more helpful measuring aid to the human mind.
If you want to, you can call all the motions in the universe 'the motions of time' [as if Time were some God and was causing all those motions]. But it would be more accurate to say that all the motions of the universe can be called time [you can also call them whatever else you'd like, it's not going to have the least effect on them either way].
Now, think again: Can you travel 'in' time? Or 'through' time? Any imaginary thing is possible inside the human imagination--And so there sure, you can time-travel in the human mind. Some of my favorite imaginary tales are about traveling back in time.
But to 'really' travel back in time you'd have to stop all the motions of the universe down to the last quark and then start them spinning in the opposite direction! Then you'd have to stop them all again when you got to the point in time you wanted to go--And then you'd have to start them spinning forward again! All of them!
But first reverse the spin of a single quark, or even of one of the numberless components of a quark (once science discovers them). And then let's talk about 'time' the stuff of imagination.
Space-time doesn't exist, but it's a useful framework for understanding our reality -- Events do not exist, they happen.
But also always keep in mind that material objects do not exist, they persist: All matter is made of motions [energy]. And when that energy has run its course, they vanish back into the nothingness from whence they came. In the meantime, the persistence of their motions [somewhere] is what gives them the illusion of existence in this [universe of noneternal persistences], of momentary shifts of energy (thermodynamics) which we think of as existing. Enjoy it while you can!
